Release Date: Handbook of Research on Practices and Outcomes in E-Learning: Issues and Trends
As you may know, Ann and I worked together in the creation of a research chapter for the Handbook of Research on Practices and Outcomes in E-Learning: Issues and Trends. Today, IGI Global released the text for sale.
What you may not know is the final submission deadline for our original chapter was during a time when Ann was teaching in Iowa and I was on an international mission in Villahermosa, Mexico. Not to be discouraged, Ann suggested we complete the work virtually. I suggested Google Documents, and Ann suggested Zotero for our references. At that time, Zotero did not allow library sharing as the beta version does today, but never the less, it made working virtually significantly easier.
Many of the original blog concepts from our work on “Dispatches from the Graduate Classroom” were seminal to our research and writing for the chapter. Both of us are eager to see the blending of our ideas with the excellent contributions of our colleges.
